World Peace Summit 2025

About The Summit

When is the Summit?

The World Peace Summit 2025 will take place from 14 Sep – 28 Sep 2025.

It will be a virtual summit but there will also be events in many cities and other locations around the world.

Imagine, for example, the World Peace Summit 2025 (14-28 Sep) taking place in conference centres in Sydney, Tokyo, Dhaka, Cape Town, Lagos, Moscow, Rome, Berlin, London, Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, New York and San Francisco, for example, where peace groups and other relevant NGOs have booths, and where the conference hall event links to other conference hall events and also to Zoom and YouTube live…

Some may take place over a weekend (eg Sat 20 – Sun 21 Sep) while others may continue for several days or even a week.

The World Peace Summit 2025 (14–28 Sep) is driven by the global civil society world peace movement.  We aim to engage national politicians around the world but on our own terms.  We are not inviting the private sector to participate.

I wish you the best of luck with your business, enjoy the adventure.

2025 and beyond

It is envisioned that the World Peace Summit will take place every four years, for example:
2025
2029
2033
2037
and beyond…

There will be, as there was in 2024, a World Peace Action Week every year in the intervening years.

A list of Key Demands for World Peace will be a common thread throughout the World Peace Summit 2025 (14-28 Sep), and workshops will be held on each of the 20 Key Demands.

The World Peace Summit 2025 (14-28 Sep) is not a talk fest!  The emphasis and focus is always on activism – creative protests, rallies and direct action.  However, with that in mind, discussions, workshops and negotiations are also necessary.

We have a Steering Committee currently comprising nine representatives of key peace NGOs on five continents, as well as three Advisors.

We also have a list of peace groups and other NGOs who have endorsed the World Peace Summit 2025 (14-28 Sep).

Further details of the Steering Committee, Advisors and list of endorsing organisations will be posted down the track.
